Welcome to Black Speed Dating. Our aim is to help people in the Black Community to find love... So if you describe your self as Afro Caribbean, African or West Indian, and you are single 30-45, looking for a black partner, you are most welcome!
Our Black Speed Dating evening is going to be a twist on the usual kind.
We won't be having just a formal - sit at the table and introduce yourself - type of evening.
Instead we are going to mix it up! We are going to have you meeting and mingling with all your prospective dates. There will even be free prizes! You are going to have lots of fun, and will laugh all evening!
You will meet on average, about 20 prospective partners. Each time you meet someone you will have a card to mark your comments on. You will have to decide how interested you are in each person.
At the end of the evening you will take your cards home and on Friday you will be able to input your scores. You will then receive an email with your matched person's detail.
Here at Black Speed Dating, we do it this way to take the sting out of someone not reciprocating your strong interest. If someone didn't score you as highly, don't worry! They'll never know that you liked them!!
What this does mean, is that you have to be honest when you write up your card. No waiting to see what the other person is going to write!
